Greetings to fans, press and other readers. Velosipedska started the season with a couple of highs and a couple of lows. We started with a streak of horrible luck, but luckily we’ve had some nice results to make up for that. Let’s get right to it.
---TEAM NEWS---
There isn’t much news regarding the overall team structure. We’ve bought a bunch of new sunglasses for our squad, restocked our canteen and bar supplies, but we can’t announce any new sponsor deals or purchases. Our fans can expect movement on that front in a future update, however. We are currently interviewing doctors to strengthen our staff. We want to improve our recovery strategy between races. In the near future we are also looking at more medical staff and skilled dedicated mechanics. Velovski’s dad Zoran has been extremely helpful, but he can’t support the team on his own anymore. Apply now if you are interested in working with us!

---RIDER NEWS---
Following Borislav Velovski’s graduation last press release, Nderim Bogatinov has now graduated from the Velosipedska training program. We are happy to report that Nderim will be the final lead out man in our sprint train. He already has a great bond with Aksentiev, hopefully he can launch him off to victory many times in the future.
With Nderim fully integrated into our squad, there is room for new Macedonian talent to join our training program. If you think you can ride fast, stop by during one of our press events, or try to follow our boys when they are training in the Macedonian countryside!
---RACE NEWS---
After our last press release we’ve had some horrible luck during our races. In the 13 races we participated in since then our captains have suffered 5 crashes or mechanical issues at important moments in the race. Metodija and Borislav were both even injured for a while, the former will be able to resume training in a day or two, the latter is already back on the bike. Even the races without equipment issues haven’t been amazing, Riste has had 3 real off days that left him unable to give that final push near the finish.
Luckily, our squad is mentally quite strong, so despite a mechanical Riste managed a 6th place at Jelep La Climb. Metodija got even better results with a 4th at Stachanov Street Race and even a 3d place at Svenstrup KWC - our third podium spot this season.
The main success came from Nikolovski this period: The first ever Makedonium Memorial Race was an amazing experience for the squad. Velovski was still a bit out of shape due to his earlier crash, but nevertheless Riste showed off our national colours with pride, taking 4th place. It would have been great to grab the top spot or top 3 in our home race, but looking at our luck recently we can be content with this result. The boys were also delighted to see the amazing support for our team. We are grateful to be a part of the Macedonian new wave of cycling.
The next few weeks Riste will be building towards a great form to improve on his performance from last year in the Odyssey of the Oryx. This means that we will be riding a mountain race approximately every 5 days, with a small break before the tour to build up his energy. Aksentiev will be given a day to day schedule, depending on how his injury affects him the next few weeks.
Kind regards and thanks for reading,

Try to save money , you will be happy to have it when a new "talent" is popping up :)
Good luck with the rest of the season. Riste and Metodija are good riders.
